Delete your account

Use this page to request deletion of your IGA Academy account and the personal data linked to it. This applies to the web portal and the IGA ACADEMY mobile app.

How to request deletion

Signed in: scroll to "Delete my account now" below, type DELETE, and confirm. Your account is soft-deleted immediately.
Not signed in: email support@igaai.org from the address on your account. Include your full name and the email or phone you use to sign in. Subject line: "Delete IGA Academy account".
Or sign in at igaai.org/auth, open Settings → Security, and choose Delete account.

We process email requests within 30 days. In-app / signed-in deletion takes effect right away.

What we delete

Your profile details (name, email, phone, avatar)
Sign-in access to the portals and mobile app
Parent–child links tied to your parent account (soft-deleted)
Notification preferences stored for your account

Deletion is a soft delete in our database: the account record is marked deleted and personal fields are cleared. You cannot sign in afterwards.

What we may keep

School academic records for students (grades, attendance, submissions) that your school is required to retain — these stay under school control and are not erased solely because a parent account is closed.
Anonymized or aggregated analytics that no longer identify you.
Records we must keep for legal, security, or fraud-prevention reasons, for up to 12 months after deletion unless a longer period is required by law or your school.
